Beyond weight loss, which is the reason I started intermittent fasting, are so many other benefits for your health. My thumb joint stopped hurting, I am sleeping better, lost weight, I have so much energy. When the bodies not digesting, it is repairing and healing itself. Plus I am sharing two easy recipes, that can give you more ideas on what to make. What I eat in a day.

  1. Great recipes and information on IF from another YT viewer. Thank you for sharing.

I’m on week 3 and losing weight. Yay! But I’m really hoping it will help with sleep. I fall asleep fine but wake up most nights in the middle of the night. So annoying! I’ve read everything about sleep. Really hoping that IF will kick in and help with this

  3. Sandy, I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and we know there isn’t a cure, I know when I stay away from sugar, I have so much less pain! I really try Intermittent Fasting, but 16 hours to fast is so difficult with needing to take my pain meds, etc. So I do like 10 hours and that’s not long enough, so I’m up a creek!

  4. Please keep sharing your recipes.

  5. I totally agree with the woman who wrote to you. IF has changed my life. I started about 7 weeks ago, and have also stopped eating sugar. I have lost 18 lbs.and feel so much better. No more brain fog or depression. I have so much energy and sleep great. It’s been the best thing I’ve ever done for myself. Also, my family and I just returned from a cruise, and I kept up IF pretty well. I actually lost 3 lbs on the cruise.

  7. Thank you for the recipes. I will make them both. Sandy, do you consume cow’s milk and/or oats? Also, you said it took you a month to see weight loss. How much did you lose, on average, per month? I too have chronic pain from a spinal injury. I was encouraged by the testimony.

I started 16/8 and finally in third week lost 1.5 k

Thank you so much for sharing these videos. I have been intermittent fasting fpr abpit 6 weeks. The terrible joint pain I had daily in my hands has disappeared.

  10. Why some days I am extremely hungry …. My window to eat 1-9.

  11. I so appreciated this video today! I have been fasting now for about 5-6 weeks & was starting to get discouraged because the weight loss has been slow. I am a nurse & know that I needed to stop the constant dieting yo-yo process. Aside from some weight loss, I just said to my husband yesterday that my knees have not been aching like usual! I am also sleeping much better which is a great improvement as menopause had really wrecked my sleep pattern. I am hoping that intermittent fasting will also help with recurring uterine polyps I have been dealing with. Had surgery twice for polyps & they keep returning. Praying that intermittent fasting , exercising & eating more clean foods will make a difference. Thanks for your guidance Sandy! I loved your videos before & appreciate you sharing your intermittent fasting journey. God bless you & your family ❤

Great video. I appreciate recipe ideas too.

  13. I started IF last April following an emergency hysterectomy, I had breast cancer in 2020 at age 44, after being someone who never missed work then having these issues kind of back to back I decided I’m never going to take my health for granted, I found Dr Mary Claire Haver on YouTube talking about IF to prevent breast ca from returning, which I was told typically returns within 15 years. It changed my life in so many ways, I did not do this to lose weight but lost 40 pounds, my legs had been hurting so bad in the morning I had to take one step at a time, I can run up & down stairs now if I chose to with zero pain!! I sleep wonderfully, I think so much clearer, and this will sound CRAZY but I no longer wear my glasses, my eyes were not that bad but I did have bifocals and now I never wear them, I can see🤷🏼‍♀️ 3 things I love the most are (1) this is free (2) I never have to talk about it, I’m an introvert and hated when I low carb dieted & had to say no I can’t have that I’m not eating carbs, I just never have to talk about this, it’s great! If I do not lose anymore weight (I’m still 20 pounds overweight) I’m not going off this, I feel 10 years younger! (3) I’m never sick now! Lots of science behind it but I’m usually sick from September to May due to my job in Kindergarten, not sick at all this school year!🎉I absolutely love your videos Sandy! Thank you for taking the time to make them, I love learning more about IF!

  14. Another great 👍 video. For your lovely lady who’s comment you read I would like to offer some guidance with the 35 symptoms of dreaded estrogen dominance…bio identical HRT creams saved my life through menopause. Starting in 2009, I used my primary care Dr and a compounding pharmacist, who quite honestly was a scatterbrain and messed me up a couple times and I felt horrible with some pretty bad symptoms. If going that route do your homework and make sure they know what they’re doing. Anyway, in 2017, I stopped all creams and almost immediately had the terrible hot flashes etc…return. That went on for about a year and I was miserable. In 2018 I found a lovely lady on YouTube who helped me and still does to this day even though I’ve never bought her products. I use a company in Tennessee who is so great, to purchase my progesterone and estriol cream to squash all the symptoms of menopause and also protect from many diseases and build strong bones. Sandy, finding you a few weeks ago has brought another lovely lady into my life and I thank you so much for reaching so many of us with your wisdom. God’s Blessings to you and your precious family 🙏

  15. I love your videos, Sandy! please keep them coming! I’ve been intermittent fasting for about a month. I’ve lost weight and feel so much better. I have had that same pain you describe in your thumb… gone now. 🤩

  16. Out of curiosity are you going to talk about the derailment in Ohio and I wonder how it’s going to affect the agriculture

  17. Theresa Capocci

Can you give the tortilla sourdough recipe

  18. BTW I love chia seed pudding. I like to add cherries to it. Also almond extract is so good in chia see pudding.

  19. I have had more energy and I am able to get to bed at a decent hour. I can literally feel my blood and fluids flowing easier esp in my feet. No swelling feeling in my legs and feet and it is cooling effect. Also my face looks younger and rested. I also make better decisions on what I eat and not craving sweets like I was I feel normal cravings and only eat small treats. I could go on and on about the positive effects.

  20. Sandy, You are so sweet to share exactly what you eat and the recipes too!! I have done IF for 7 days and am down 2 pounds. I have been lucky and not been hungry even once. My new eating window is 1-7 PM. I want to share the “whoosh effect” with people that do not see the scale going down. You can see the scale not going down for weeks and then suddenly your body releases the water stored in your fat cells. One lady dropped 6 pounds after three weeks, but not losing a single pound until after her third week. You can also lose inches instead of pounds too. Sandy, can I suggest you doing a YouTube video where we can put our favorite meals or drinks in the comment section. I have a wonderful, thick protein & organic frozen fruits smoothie that is delicious and easy to make in a blender. I drink at least two a week and low calorie too. Thanks for ALL your wonderful videos!
