Using traditional hand pound rice in your diet will help to give many vital minerals and nutrients hence I try to introduce traditional varieties of rice in my recipes. Cooked and cooled rice are a good source of resistant starch, which is much needed to maintain a healthy gut microbiome which eventually will help in weight loss and weight management.
1 tbsp A2 desi ghee or any wood pressed oils of your choice
1/2 mace, 1 star anise, 3-4 cloves, 1 black cardamon, 1/4 of a nutmeg, 1/3 tsp jeera, 1 bay leaf, 1 cinnamon, 3-4 green cardamoms.
1 chopped onion
1/4 inch ginger
2 green chilies
1 cup fresh green peas
pink salt as needed
1/4 cup structured water
2 cups cooked illupai poo chemba rice or any locally sourced rice of your choice
1/3 tsp garam masala
1/2 of a lemon
