I think you’ve missed recent developments at Honda. Maybe they’re neglecting the Australian market but you can’t say they’re not innovating any more as a company. The new Civic, HR-V and Jazz all use very interesting technology. Seems to me they played things pretty well, quietly recovering from the fallout of the GFM before another big R&D push once the electrification landscape was more clear.

It’s just as well everyone doesn’t take John’s advice, because if they did, no manufacturer that did not currently have “critical mass” would EVER achieve critical mass.

Yeah/Nah. Don’t agree with your comment about the Haval H6. Sixth top selling SUV 2022. 7 Years unlimited warranty. Price/Specs it’s unmatched. I’ve contacted customer support re the ACC and their response was comprehensive (although we agreed to disagree). It has a couple of software issues and the creep in 1st can be a bit jerky (like the Tiguan) but for the price it’s fantastic. Re re-sale price, with a seven year unlimited warranty who cares!
I love the CVT auto in my ASX. Not sure why everyone hates CVT gearboxes. Having said that, I actually enjoy the DCT 7 speed in my wife’s Haval Jolion. Maybe I’m just a sucker for punishment. I’m going to dislike your video just because of your stance on CVT. You’re welcome
Got an xc60 t6 as my first car, it’s safe quite refined and decently quick (just under 7 seconds 0-100)reliable only negative is fuel consumption 15l 100 around town and the average handling thought not bad with the awd system.
Toyota – boring, simple, reliable, the global expert in hybrid technology, do not offer dirty disgusting diesel engines in real passenger cars, cheap to service, thieves avoid them and they have the best resale value. Why would I need any other brand on my list.
