The bikes go in storage. The skis come out. Then come spring i suffer getting myself back into shape. Rinse. Repeat. Its getting harder and I need to train in the winter to at least keep my wind.
I’ve been loving the winter riding. Cold isn’t great but it’s so much better than crazy summer heat. One weird thing is seeing so many more coyotes. Haven’t had a ride where I didn’t see them lately.
Hebie Viper mudguards work well, easy to put on and off
Hope you can visit in the Philippines especially 3skulls downhill
Anywhere around here if someone was riding muddy trails and wrecking them I think someone would be waiting with a shovel or baseball bat. Still waiting for some snow so we can take fat tires out or not.

Ah yes, those cruel UK winters. 7°C at the time of writing this comment. I’m almost jealous but on the flipside I don’t want to ride in mud all year either. 🙂
