  1. I heard locals in Mexico (and more countries south) are upset with Gringoes going there & raising prices.. any comments?

  2. JP … love the new look😊

A friend of mine has just moved to Cuenca. Now I have started following your channels and thinking of making an exploration trip. We are a family of 5 expats. I have worked abroad these past 18 years and am starting to question whether the U.S. is where we want to move back to.

  4. I’m retired, with a very good pension. I’m looking at Mexico, Central and South America, as well as Europe. My income allows me to live pretty much any where in the world, that is legal for me to live there. I will be traveling in 2023 to explore locations.

  5. There are a few things that quickly get onto people’s wants & needs list and that is citizenship and owning property. For some there is also their confidence in the banking system. I suggest that people re-think these issues. We grow up in the US thinking these are essential but you might find, after some time as an expat, that these aren’t so important after all. The banks are important but you may find that they are just as reliable and safe as your bank back home. If these are negotiable in your mind then it opens up more destinations to consider.

Do you know anyone who has driven from the United States to Ecuador?

  7. I’m not moving abroad but I am moving from the big city, Bangkok (6 years), to the rural Isaan countryside to live in our newly built house. That’s a big change! I’m looking forward to a new experience.

  8. I really appreciate these videos. But could you turn down the monetization a little? The ads are SO annoying because there are so MANY of them.

    Due the Tuesday please

  10. I live in Golden and have been keeping an eye on Manta weather. 75° to 80° most days. That sounds perfect for me. Also being land locked all my life I think beach town living is for me. Seems like Cuenca is getting a little too big for me. Toes in the water and ass in the sand seems just about right for me. 🤣

I want to lose weight is my New Year resolution

In 1995 I moved to Alaska with no exploratory trip, just positive imagination. I stayed 21 years. If you fear a poor choice, that’s what your imagination will give you.😊

LOL. I love the Eagles. I love that song Already Gone.

I watched the short about the 2 bedroom rental in Ajijic. I enjoyed it, watched it twice.

I love those glasses. They are pretty hip.

  16. I like shorts. Happy New Year! God bless you both 🙏

  17. My New Year resolutions are all about moving abroad in May 2023 – find someone to run my business in the US (or sell it) and save 60% of my income every month are the last two items I have to do before I go. Malaysia is still my first choice, hoping they relax the long-term visa rules. France is my 2nd choice. I’ve lived abroad off and on since 2003 so I’m well-prepared but this is my final adios to the US. 4 months and counting!

  20. I am single too !! is there places to meet singles in Cuenca?
