as a support main, after every fights I always check how I did in terms of vision score, kill participation and CC Score.
Rather than checking damage dealt, damage taken that sort of thing, since most of the times those stats are not what a support should be looking to contribute to the team.
I think the point of the ward item, is that control wards take up a space anyways. Getting some stats, while still being able to hold control wards, makes sense on a support that doesn’t get a whole lot scalling wise out of items.

@ 21:00 when you start talking about wardstone, that item is actually super strong for the vast majority of supports basically every game. Watch bizzleberry’s video about it for a good breakdown but the amount of value and utility it gives is pretty absurd
