As content creation is our business and how we earn our living you will see advertising in our content from time to time in different forms:
We are very selective about what brands we work with on paid/sponsored content creation and as a rule we don’t work with any brand that we don’t already or wouldn’t spend our own money on. We are incredibly proud of all our brand partnership content and it will always be disclaimed in the most transparent way possible so you know exactly what is and ‘AD’.
Because we don’t work with a large amount of brands on sponsored content we do rely on our YouTube ad revenue. Any adverts you watch during the duration of our videos will earn us a small percentage of ‘ad revenue’ from YouTube and we really appreciate you watching the adverts in full (and not skipping them), but only if and when you can. We also know that time is precious so no pressure.
We also use ‘Affiliate Links’ in the description boxes below our videos and if you make a purchase via these links we will earn a small percentage of commission depending on the sale amount. Not all links are affiliate links but just assume they are
Any items/links marked with ‘[AD – Pr products]’ are products which have been ‘gifted’ from the respective brands without a contract for sponsored content. This is still classed as a form of advertising because nothing is ever “free”, brands are gaining exposure to our audience by us featuring them, so these items are marked as ‘AD-Pr product’ in the description box but we are under no obligation to feature these items. And as with our paid content, we never accept gifting/pr products from brands that we don’t already or wouldn’t spend our money on. If we have received a press discount on anything featured this will also be disclaimed.

  1. Always look forward to your wardrobe switchover and really enjoyed this video….picked up some great tips

  2. Love your wardrobe swap over videos and clothes care tips. I love doing the clothes maintenance chores too – especially the leather care on my handbags😊

  3. Thanks for this!

  4. Thank you so much for making so useful videos!! It is really important to take care of our stuff instead of always buying new things!!🥰

  5. Lovely video Emma – very motivating! I’m off to clean my trainers 😮 x

  6. daubler elena

    So simple and…perfect.
    Priceless ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  7. I really like how much you obviously respect your clothing items. Much more ethical approach than the fast fashion, easy come/easy go mindset ❤

  8. So good. It’s inspired me to take more care of my clothes, although I now need some decent clothes that are worth taking care of! 😄 Have a lovely day x

  9. So helpful and inspiring and well-timed! I am doing all of this.

  10. Pamela Atkinson’s Cats

Thank you. It’s useful information. I regularly use a cashmere comb as I’ve had accidents with an electric de-bobbler from being a bit heavy-handed.

    For cleaning sneakers/trainers:
    I use nailpolish remover.
Can be used on everything else too.

  12. Irma Buttitta

I hope you know this already, but if you don’t, I want to let you know that your videos are therapeutic! thank you @emmahill! 🙏♥

  13. Thanks for this Emma… I love watching your videos. I’ve just turned 60 and I’ve found over the years my style has evolved and tastes obviously can change. I’ve never been a particularly fussy detail dresser…except perhaps in the 80’s 😂… but I’ve found over the last decade or so especially in winter simplicity is best for me and I absolutely love your style. I’ve always adored coats so tend to make them the crowning glory so want something simple underneath. The tips you give are invaluable as I need my clothes to work hard and last as long as possible. So thanks again 😊❤️

  14. Conditioning my leather goods is my favourite clothing care task

  15. Mariola Valero

Loved it! Like all your content, really. Its refreshing to see these kinds of videos and the work you’ve put to create them. The care you take is shown

  16. Happy Sunday Emma, as always great tips, thank you for putting them together. 👏👏 regards from Italy.

  17. Carol Trinick

Really appreciated this video on how to car for my wardrobe items. Thank you 😊

  18. Emma, this could be an actual TV programme, it is so well explained, shot and edited!
Great advice. Not to sound like an old lady , but we have become such a throw away society and it is so lovely to see advice about keeping our existing wardrobe in good condition for as long as possible.
Can I ask if you use shoe trees in your loafers etc?
    Best wishes xx

  19. I love your videos in general, but especially ones like this that focus on making the most of your existing wardrobe (care, styling tips, etc.). Taking good care of your wardrobe, whether they are investment pieces or your budget only allows fast fashion, extends their lifespan drastically, which is better for both your wallet and the enviroment.
