When they sold the Speedi on HSN and QVC they showed a cake they made and they used the steam bake and the cake was very moist and thick. They said that steaming was how high end bakeries did their cakes.

Question, is the texture of the cake the same as in regular oven..I did a choc cake and I really dont remember the setting 🙁 but the texture was awful and the whole thing got thrown in the garbage and since then to scared to do another in the speedi. btw, thats my favorite cake!!
40 mins seems long for a convection and small cake. did it dry out? everything is good when it’s hot, I wonder next day if you find it moist. seems like a long cook.
