Another Eggs Benedict Tip – for aesthetics only.
crack the egg over a thin strainer or sifter, this will let the thin white drip through but the thick white will stay in tact. This way when you drop it into the water you don’t have any of the ‘wispy’ white edges. It doesnt really change the flavour at all, but it can help plating them in pretty ways 🙂
Tip strain your egg and you can skip the vinegar and just toss it in the boiling water without moving the egg and you’ll have a perfect pouch egg 😊
